How it works

A weekly benchmark that builds evidence, not a single score.

Every week, designers take the same free benchmark. Your results become a per-skill evidence profile. Practice drills, each one written from a cited source, work on the skills that need it, and your portfolio shows the work.

The loop

Four steps, every week

  1. Step 1

    Take the weekly benchmark

    One benchmark a week, open for a set window that is announced in the app first. It is free on every plan. Everyone draws from the same frozen pool of questions and gets one ranked attempt. The server grades every answer.
  2. Step 2

    Read your evidence profile

    Your results are kept per skill: what you have answered in each and how much of it was right. There is no single overall score, so you see exactly which skills are strong and which are not.
  3. Step 3

    Practise the weak spots

    Short drills grouped by skill and ordered from easier to harder. Every question cites the book, paper or guideline it was written from, and answers are checked on the server.
  4. Step 4

    Show the work

    Publish projects to a portfolio page at your own handle, or on your own subdomain. You choose whether your profile is public, for followers only, or private.

What keeps you going

Leagues, courses, the arcade and streaks sit around the four steps.

Weekly leagues

Each week (Monday to Monday, India time) you join a league room of up to 30 designers. Points from practice and the benchmark set the standings. The top 5 move up a tier and the bottom 5 move down, across five tiers from Bronze to Diamond.

Courses

Taught courses from start to certificate: a syllabus of articles, videos and graded exercises. Anyone can check a certificate on the verify page.

Arcade

Quick design games. A score only counts against a run the server started and if it was reachable in the time played. Each game pays coins at most once a day.

Streaks, coins and the shop

Practising keeps a daily streak. One missed day in any seven is forgiven, a streak protection covers another, and a broken streak can be repaired once within 48 hours. Coins buy design resources in the shop.

Sources

Where questions come from

Questions are written from published books, papers and guidelines, and each one stores its citation. Benchmark citations are shown with the answers once results publish.
