Junior Product Designer

Lena Leo is a junior product designer based in India on Dazzle.

<p>I began my creative journey during my B.Tech, designing posters and digital creatives for IEEE and CSI community initiatives. What started as an artistic interest gradually evolved when I explored Figma and began designing user interfaces for college projects.</p><p>After graduation, I joined as an apprentice under the guidance of Anudeep Ayyagari, where my perspective on design shifted fundamentally from visual aesthetics to user-centric problem solving. I immersed myself in design thinking, UX research, user journey mapping, and structured design processes, learning how thoughtful design can create real impact for both users and businesses.</p><p>To strengthen my foundations, I worked on two practice projects and a comprehensive capstone project, focusing on UX fundamentals, usability, and clarity of thought, while also sharpening my UI skills through challenges and iterations.</p><p>I later joined Olyv India, a fintech company, as a UX/UI Design Intern, collaborating closely with product managers, UX researchers, developers, and fellow designers. This experience gave me hands-on exposure to solving real-world problems, contributing to cross-functional discussions, and understanding how design decisions are made and executed within a product-driven organization.</p><p>After my internship, I transitioned into freelancing, where I worked on a pregnancy app and designed and built a Framer website for BrightGrid Solars, gaining experience in end-to-end design ownership from problem discovery to final delivery.</p><p>I am currently seeking opportunities as a Product Designer.</p>
